Review bombs
Days a game got far more negative Steam reviews than usual, mostly negative ones: what players call a review bomb.
How it is calculated
Steam's review graph gives each of the last 30 days; we read it daily for games with at least 5,000 reviews and monthly for the rest, and keep every day. A day is flagged when it has at least 100 negative reviews, at least 5 times the median negative reviews a day over the 28 days before, and negative reviews are at least 50% of the day's reviews and 25 points more than usual.

Caveats
- A flag says the reviews were unusual, not why. Some waves are about a real problem with an update; the news posted that day is shown beside it.
- Steam later hides some off-topic reviews from its score; this counts the reviews its graph showed when we read it.
- Games read monthly can be flagged up to a month late.
