Games whose average player count rose the most in the last 24 hours, compared with the 24 hours before.
How it is calculated
For each game, the mean of its hourly average player counts over the last 24 whole hours (UTC) and over the 24 hours before that. Games are ranked by the percentage rise from the earlier window to the later one. A game needs readings in at least 4 hours of each window and an average of at least 1,000 players in the last 24 hours.

Caveats
- Counts people running the game through Steam only. Players on other stores, consoles or launchers are not included.
- We poll the busiest games every 15 minutes and quiet ones as rarely as once a month, so a short spike between polls can be missed. Each game shows how often it is polled.
- Both windows cover a full day, so the daily rise and fall of players cancels out, but weekends and holidays do not.
- Games released in the last day have no earlier window to compare with, so they appear here from their second day.
