Update impact
What a game's updates did to its players: the average the week before each update post, the average the week after, and the most at once in that week.
How it is calculated
The updates are the developer's update posts (see Update posts), with copies of the same post within 3 days counted once, timed by when the post went up. Before is the average of our hourly player counts over the 7 days before the post; after is the average over the 7 days from it, and the peak is the highest count in those 7 days. Seven days take in every day of the week, so a weekend is never compared with weekdays. An update is shown only when we have counts in at least 3 hours of the week before it.

Caveats
- Updates often come with a sale, an event or a new season, so not every change is the update's own doing.
- When another update came within the week after, the week after is partly that update's doing too; such rows are marked.
- A post can go up a little before or after the update itself reaches players.
- Only updates since we started counting a game's players have figures: October 2026 for most games.
