The Necessary Evil

Compare Steam page

The Necessary Evil is a tactical RPG about making difficult decisions and preparing for the unpredictable. Lead "volunteers" into the dark and rotting recesses of the collective unconscious, colonized and industrialized and plundered for profit. Every decision matters, and every choice has a cost.

No player readings for The Necessary Evil in the last 48 hours yet. We poll this game every 30 days.

How this is measured

Player counts over time, as we observed them.

Counts people running the game through Steam only. Players on other stores, consoles or launchers are not included.
We poll the busiest games every 15 minutes and quiet ones as rarely as once a month, so a short spike between polls can be missed. Each game shows how often it is polled.
Our player history starts on 19 October 2026. Earlier peaks, including launch peaks, are not in our data.
